    David Kitchen - Chief Executive Officer

    Following a career in banking and insurance at a senior level David started his first business in 1996 before setting up an IFA business which grew from start up to £18m turnover in 3 ½ years. When exiting that business David lived in Barbados for a period of time helping two local businesses grow, one of which he helped a local businessman sell his business to a Jamaican company for $10m.

    Over the past 22 years David has worked in a Chair, Board Adviser and Non-Exec capacity with dozens of companies with a focus on high growth and in many cases the sale of his client’s company.

    David was a founder of The Leadership Team in 2014 which specialises in supporting education and training providers which he sold in 2025. David founded Clarendon Square Advisory Ltd in 2019 which supports medium sized SME businesses with growth/exit. As part of this David works with a number of companies in a Board Adviser/Non-Exec capacity.

    David has significant experience within the public and private sector. He has worked at a senior level within a sector skills council and commercially has vast experience within the training and education sector.

    He has been with The Leadership Team since 2015 and was formerly Director of Mergers and Acquisitions until his retirement as a Director in February 2021. David now works on special client projects on a part time basis.
