Following a career in banking and insurance at a senior level David started his first business in 1996 before setting up an IFA business which grew from start up to £18m turnover in 3 ½ years. When exiting that business David lived in Barbados for a period of time helping two local businesses grow, one of which he helped a local businessman sell his business to a Jamaican company for $10m.

Over the past 22 years David has worked in a Chair, Board Adviser and Non-Exec capacity with dozens of companies with a focus on high growth and in many cases the sale of his client’s company.

David was a founder of The Leadership Team in 2014 which specialises in supporting education and training providers which he sold in 2025. David founded Clarendon Square Advisory Ltd in 2019 which supports medium sized SME businesses with growth/exit. As part of this David works with a number of companies in a Board Adviser/Non-Exec capacity.

Dermot is current CEO of Verteck Ltd , an organisation that focuses on the realisation of power derived from non-recyclable waste, supported by other renewable sources.

As a highly experience and dynamic business leader Dermot is now available to support our fast growing clients, not only with ESG and Sustainability issues but also with his specialist areas of expertise which include General Management (strategy, culture, team development, mentoring), Technology and leading Sales & Marketing activities.

Nicola has a Degree in Theatre, a Masters in Education and is an experienced, accredited performance coach. She holds certificates in counselling, neuroscience and emotional intelligence. Nicola creates impactful professional development programmes for individuals, organisations, local authorities and governments nationally and internationally. The work Nicola conducts is deeply rooted in her core values of respect, kindness, compassion and curiosity. Nicola designs and provides training and CPD programmes for educators, advisors, managers and business leaders.

Having had a varied career and wide experience in both Public and Private Sector I was a founder member of Clarendon Square Advisory Ltd. I support our client businesses with financial matters and systems support. I am an animal lover and also work for the RSPCA.

David has significant experience within the public and private sector. He has worked at a senior level within a sector skills council and commercially has vast experience within the training and education sector.

He has been with The Leadership Team since 2015 and was formerly Director of Mergers and Acquisitions until his retirement as a Director in February 2021. David now works on special client projects on a part time basis.

Alex has worked for the group since 2015, provide admin support and research across the group. Alex has become a specialist in Hubspot, Really Simple Systems and is our go-to for IT support

Rebecca joined the group in 2021 with as Marketing and Engagement Advisor and now works across the group providing marketing and event solutions.
